Matthew Matatof, Partner

Matthew Matatof is a partner and founding member of the firm.  Matthew has extensive experience in real estate and corporate law.  His practice focuses on real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing and development of both residential and commercial properties in the tri-state area.  He regularly represents individual clients and investors entering joint ventures for both small and large development projects.  He has represented lenders and borrowers in hundreds of transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion.   

Matthew regularly advises his clients on general business matters including due diligence, deal structure, corporate structure, and various other general business matters.  With both a J.D. and an M.B.A., Matthew has a unique perspective of the law from a business viewpoint.

Matthew has been named to the New York Metro Area Rising Stars list by SuperLawyers, a distinction afforded to only the top 2.5% of lawyers in the New York Metro Area.

Matthew resides in New Jersey with his wife and four children.
